This article is part of the Hipmunk City Love project. I research specific cities I’ve either visited or plan to visit soon, and find out cool information about hotels, the best way to explore the city, or foodie guides to each place. Then I share that info with you!
Today I got to write about one of my favorite cities in the world, Paris.
Paris is one of the top destinations in the world, and probably the number one city for couples to visit. It has a well-deserved reputation as one of the most beautiful, romantic cities in Europe. So you might as well book your stay in one of the romantic hotels in Paris to complete the experience!

La Maison Favart
This stunning hotel is in Paris’s historic 2nd district, close to the Grands Boulevards with its 19th-century shopping streets. La Maison Favart only has 37 rooms, which lends the hotel a cozy, boutique feel, and each one of the rooms is decorated in an elegant 18th-century style. The hotel is perfect for couples who want to soak in Paris’s historic and cultural side.
Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel
The Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel features an unbeatable view of the Eiffel Tower right out its guest room windows. The hotel is right on the bank of the Seine, with modern rooms decorated in a chic Parisian style. Book any of the hotel rooms to enjoy a magnificent view, Wi-Fi, and a spacious, elegant room.
The Westin Paris – Vendome
If you’re looking for a romantic hotel steeped in history and luxury, look no further than The Westin Paris – Vendome. The hotel’s regal entrance and chandeliers will make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Relax with your partner in the Six Senses Spa, then grab a bite at Le First, the hotel’s fine dining option.
Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg
Though the Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg is just a few steps away from the historic Champs-Elysees, the hotel is modern and grand, with a contemporary bar and top notch restaurants. If you and your partner are both shopping addicts, book a room at the Sofitel, which will put you right in the center of Faubourg St. Honore, Paris’ high-end shopping district.
InterContinental Paris Le Grand
If you book a room at the InterContinental Paris Le Grand, you will enjoy an amazing view of the Palais Garnier right across the street. The hotel is a historic landmark, and the elegant Napoleonic rooms will make you feel like royalty. All the luxurious accommodations mean this hotel is a little pricier than most Paris hotels, but it is well worth the extra money.
Le Marceau Bastille
Stay at Le Marceau Bastille to enjoy a four-star hotel experience at an affordable price. The hotel is only a few minutes away from the Louvre Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral, so you will be within walking distance of two of the most beautiful and recognizable Paris attractions. The 55 rooms are modern, comfortable, and cozy, and the hotel also has a fitness center as well as a bar.
Hotel Bel Ami
The Hotel Bel Ami has a relaxing spa and beautiful, cozy rooms that make for a wonderful romantic retreat. The 24-hour room service, as well as the high-end restaurant and trendy bar right in the hotel, allow you to enjoy yourself without even leaving the Bel Ami. However, you will probably want to explore the surrounding neighborhood of Place Saint-Germain-des-Pres, as well as the Louvre and Notre Dame.
